Rena Sofer

  Rena Sherel, born on December 2 1968 is an American actress. She is well-known for her performances on the daytime network, as well as episodic guest appearances and made-for-television movies. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance of Lois Cerullo in the soap show General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap drama The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 to 2022.





 Childhood and early life



 Sofer was the daughter Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) She was an Orthodox Rabbi as well as Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).





 In 1970, she moved to Teaneck, New Jersey with her brother David and father. At the time, Sofer was 5 years old, they remained in Western Pennsylvania. The family was located in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was director of the Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Then, she went to the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is an co-educational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer lived in North Bergen, New Jersey and her father was rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. She graduated from North Bergen High School, and then went to Montclair State College.





 Career



 Television during the daytime



 Lois Marie Cerullo was Lois Marie Sofer's first role in General Hospital. In 1993, she was a band manager. She was first seen as Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap series Loving.
