Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, has been a Hollywood writer and actor for several years. Also, she is lauded by the critics. Sagittarius Born at the state of North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She's the oldest of children from Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper, and Anne, a psychology student. She's of Scottish-English descent. Moore moved frequently with her family because of the job that her dad was employed in. This was a challenge to make or maintain new friends. Moore was in the class of Frankfurt American High School in Germany as her parents moved to the United States. Then she began to perform on stage. Her education continued at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with B.F.A. in Theater. After graduation, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. In 1985 she made her television debut in an episode of The Edge of Night. She performed the double role as Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Turns, which was her breakthrough. The show aired up to 1988, and she won the Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. In 1990, she made her debut as an actress in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. In the following years, she said it was a low budget film. She was in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both produced by Robert Altman. Her performance in the critically-acclaimed Short Cuts (1993) was rewarded with several nominations. Moore landed her first lead role in Safe (1995). In 1997 the actress career reached a turning point as Steven Spielberg cast her to play the lead role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which became one of the top-grossing films in 1997. The year 1999 was the first time she won a SAG award for her work in Magnolia. In 2002, she starred alongside her co-stars in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman as well as Meryl Streep. Moore was also in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. She was also in Non-Stop (2014). Moore was in a variety of movies and television shows. The most recent role she has played is When You Finish Saving the World (2022). The actress has made herself known in Hollywood and is also an author for children. She released her first book in 2007 Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became a N.Y.T. Best-seller, it was also made into a series as well as a music. She also published My Mom is a foreigner in 2013. Moore is a accomplished author and actor is also known for making her personal life known to the world. Moore got married John Robin back in 1984, and the couple divorced in the year 1996. Moore has two children with Bart Freundlich whom she later married in 2003. Moore's entire life revolves around her family friends and career.
