Mary McDonnell
Mary Eileen McDonnell was born on April 28, 1952. She is an American stage actor, film and television star. McDonnell received Academy Award nominations for her roles as Stands With A Fist in Dances with Wolves and May-Alice Culhane in Passion Fish. McDonnell is best known for her roles in Battlestar Galactica as President Laura Roslin and First Lady Marilyn Whitmore, and Rose in Donnie Darko. In seasons 5-7 she was in the role of Captain Sharon Raydor and in Major Crimes spin-offs on TNT.
